Lavender essential oil is known for helping to put people into a relaxation state and is used frequently by Aromatherapists. In addition to the properties that help you relax Lavender is also very good for the bodies nervous system, circulatory system and the respiratory system. While Lavender helps put you into a fabulously dreamy state (for most people) it can also effectively help your body in many other areas as well.

Another great essential oil that is used in this salve is Cedarwood. Cedarwood effectively helps, like Lavender, your nervous system, circulatory system and the respiratory system. I absolutely love Cedarwood in the evening. It has a great calming effect on my whole family. While I absolutely love this salve and use it regularly I also diffuse a mixture of Cedarwood and Lavender as it gets closer to bed time. It helps the kids calm down and get into their bedtime routines.

The final essential oil in this salve is Thieves. I could go on for days about Thieves. It is one of my all time favorite essential oils and I literally use it everyday for something. Thieves is a blend of 5 different essential oils which include: cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, lemon, and rosemary. With this blend of oils you can achieve an amazing combination that will literally support every system in your body including your immune system.
