As a busy mother of two and a wife who blogs, coaches gymnastics and attends Norwegian classes I am always looking for ways to save time. Enter my favorite blogging tool: CoSchedule! CoSchedule helps me to save lots of time and helps me to better manage my blog.
If you haven’t heard of CoSchedule before you might be wondering what it is. CoSchedule defined by their site is:

CoSchedule is literally my best friend when it comes to blogging, my social media managing best fried but more. There are three main ways that I use (and you can too) CoSchedule to help your blog. Those are:
Prior to using CoSchedule I had paper calendars where I would plan out my content for each month. However, if I had an issue arrived they would end up messy and hard to read. Also I never my social media. It was too much for me. Now with CoSchedule I can not only schedule all of my blog posts but all of my social media posts (except for Instagram) here as well. CoSchedule features a beautiful calendar where you can view everything or you can view different categories separately. These categories are:
- Blog Posts
- Social Campaigns
- Social Profiles
Another thing I love about CoSchedule is how easy it is to move my blog posts around. You can easily drag and drop your posts on to their new days.
From the calendar view you can also add your blog post titles directly so that you can plan easily and fill any gaps.
The second way I use CoSchedule is creating my content. While I most of the time still outline my thoughts and ideas on paper for a particular post, I normally prepare to write out my post on the computer. Originally I did it in Pages but then I started using Google Docs and it has changed everything. My plan with CoSchedule integrates seamlessly with both Google Docs and Evernote making it extremely easy to add my content. You can also add your content using their built-in content editor. Finally if your site is on WordPress.Org then you can download the plug-in and it will sync with your blog. Creating content is super easy and so much faster using CoSchedule.
The final way I use CoSchedule is to promote all of my hard work. Social Media has always been hard for me. It is time consuming and sometimes deflating but with CoSchedule it makes it a breeze. My plan includes up to 10 social profiles. The current available social networks are:

You may notice one biggie is missing from the list above. Not to worry Instagram will be added very soon. The last webinar I attended said by the end of the year so fingers crossed. Another thing I absolutely adore about CoSchedule is that it shows you how many times east post has been shared on their respective platforms. My time and frustrations have been greatly reduced by using CoSchedule. It really does help me manage and grow my social media.
